We are very excited and gearing up for our big record-release / homecoming show in Cary, NC at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre on July 26th, 2008. This will be one of the few times that we will be playing in the great state of North Carolina this year and we have all sorts of stuff lined up for you!
First – we have worked out a deal with two hotels located within a mile of the venue, The Residence Inn by Marriott and the Hampton Inn. Both hotels have blocked off a limited number of rooms available at a discounted rate to people attending the Koka Booth show. We only have these rooms reserved until mid-July and there are a limited number available – so if you’re interested, make sure to act fast!

*To book a room at the Hampton Inn, call 919.859.5559 and ask for “in-house” reservations – say you are with The Avett Brothers group. The cut-off date for this hotel is July 14th.
Second, if you’re coming from out of town, there are a lot of fun things to do in and around our state’s capital – including the NC Musuem of Art (admission is free!), Crabtree Valley Mall and Crossroads Plaza (two of the finest malls in the state) and a big flea market that’s open every weekend – the North Carolina State Flea Market.
Last but not least, we will be selling our new EP, The Second Gleam at the show, along with lots of new merchandise! We’ll have two new t-shirts and a new baseball tee, as well as new patches, posters and of course, a few surprises!
