18 + of Cincinnati’s finest original bands join together to perform their own renditions of seminal 90’s performers The Afghan Whigs most revered tunes in the Southgate House Ballroom. The evening includes a raffle with collectible items from the band and promises to be the place to be June 20th, 2009,
Starting at 9:00 PM until closing, 18+ Cincinnati’s finest original bands will perform in the ballroom throughout the evening with music being DJ’d between the performances of Afghan Whigs Satellite bands (Like Moon Man, Mighty Fine, Twilight Singers and the Gutter Twins). A raffle, with tickets available for one dollar at the show, gives you the opportunity to win merchandise; like gift certificates, ‘CD’s and some collectible items from the band.
So get up in it, join the congregation, be sweet and we’ll make Gentleman of you all….

What is Cystic Fibrosis?: Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:
• clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
• obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
In the 1950s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school. Today, advances in research and medical treatments have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults with CF. Many people with the disease can now expect to live into their 30s, 40s and beyond.
