Cincinnati, OH, August 11,2009 — The J.Dorsey Blues Revival will celebrate the release of their first full length studio CD at an all star concert featuring, The Prohibitionists, The Lions Rampant, and Pearlene at The Southgate House, August 29th, in the Ballroom: Doors 8PM $5/21+$8/18+.

Get Right Church is a full length CD recorded on analog tape at Ultrasuede Studios with engineer Brian Niesz (Heartless Bastards/Sundresses). This full length CD boasts a tune written by local music/art hero Sam Nation, as well as eight other originals. The title track is a spiritual interpreted in true J. Dorsey Blues Revival fashion.

The J.Dorsey Blues Revival plays House Rockin’ Soulful Blues with a Psychedelic and Dirty twist. They have a high energy, booty shakin’ electrified jook joint style showing much respect to vintage sound and gear.

The Get Right Church Release Concert:
9PM- The Prohibitionists: While their sound is heavily influenced by the sounds of the sixties, the Prohibitionists combine their love of classic rock with rockabilly and punk for an exciting live show.

10PM- The Lions Rampant: The Lions Rampant are a garage band from Burlington Ky.
Their mission is to return smart, fun, blues-infused rock n roll to the masses.

11PM- The J.Dorsey Blues Revival: Revealing their first full length CD Get Right Church, with special guest, Beth Harris (The Hiders) on backing vocals.

12PM- Pearlene: One of Cincinnati’s finest commodities will be playing with their new line up. Pearlene now boasts Craig Fox of the Greenhornes on second guitar and backing vocals.

After All- The evening will end with an “all star jam”
