Halfway to Forecastle (January 23) is Moved to The Pointe in Louisville, KY

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival has announced that it will move the third annual “Halfway to Forecastle” mini-fest, January 23rd in Louisville, KY, to The Pointe: a 90,000 square foot former industrial warehouse converted into a modern green building by Tasman Properties. The event will feature an all-electronic music line-up for the first time in the festival’s history, with artists performing on three stages inside The Pointe, located at 1205 East Washington Street in the Butchertown neighborhood of Louisville. In addition to live music, the event will feature a nautically-themed fashion show, light and laser shows, live graffiti artists, ice sculptures, break dancing, poster signings, and more.

Sponsors announced for the event include Jansport, Southern Comfort, The Bluegrass Brewing Company, Heine Brothers, and Backseat Sandbar. Musical headliners include Kid Sister, LA Riots, and Trash Yourself. DJs will be traveling from New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago to perform, as well as Louisville and an array of Midwest cities. The event will kick-off at 9 PM on January 23rd.
