After a hugely successful run earlier this year, They Might Be Giants will play several dates over the spring and summer of 2010, including two benefit shows in the Boston area. The two shows at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA will be aimed at kids and proceeds from the show will benefit Boston By Foot (www.bostonbyfoot.org). The band has played a series of successful kids’ shows in support of Here Comes Science, their acclaimed 2009 release.

The upcoming dates will also include several family shows across the country, as well as festival stops at Boston’s WXRV Earth Day Celebration (free show!), the Sasquatch Festival in George, Washington, and Manchester, Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Festival.

Released in September 2009, Here Comes Science has received praise across the board for its unique and exciting fusion of rock, education and humor. Boing Boing described the album as “top-notch pop music with humor that’s aimed at both kids and adults” and called the album “better than great. Perfect.”
