Blessid Union Of Souls Plays Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg To Introduce New Album on 3/18; Tickets Now On Sale

Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Feb. 8, 2011 – Cincinnati’s own chart-topping pop/rock band Blessid Union of Souls is returning to the road and will make one of its first tour stops at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg on Friday, March 18 to introduce its new album “The Mission Field.”

The concert, which takes place in Hollywood Casino’s ballroom, begins at 8 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at Hollywood Casino’s website www.hollywoodindiana.com. Prices are $40, $35, $30 and $25. Concertgoers must be at least 21years of age. An afterparty will be held at Boogie Nights following the show.

Blessid Union has a long string of Top 40 hits from the 90s, including “I Believe,” “Let Me Be The One,” “Oh Virginia,” and “Hey Leonardo” (She Likes Me for Me). The band has toured in Europe and the United States with The Goo Goo Dolls, Bon Jovi, Third Eye Blind, and Sister Hazel and has appeared on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Live with Regis & Kelly,” “Good Morning America,” “Tops in Pops,” and VH1. Day one faithfuls singer/songwriter Eliot Sloan and bassist Tony Clark continue to lead the band.
