Midpoint Music Festival 2011 showcase submission is now open via Sonic Bids

CINCINNATI — Musicians interested in performing at Cincinnati’s 10th annual MidPoint Music Festival will be able to submit a request for showcase consideration starting Feb. 25, when MidPoint’s early submission windows open via Sonic Bids. The submission process continues through May 16.

The MidPoint Music Festival hosted record crowds in 2010, as audiences sampled live music from local, regional, national and international artists on 25 stages over three nights. Highlights included exciting showcases by Best Coast, Surfer Blood, A Place to Bury Strangers, Caribou, Phantogram, Cults, Candy Claws and many more.

Musicians who desire a showcase slot at the 2011 MidPoint Music Festival Sept. 22-24 must submit an application in order to be considered by MidPoint’s judging panel. The festival issues invitations to performers once the judging process is completed.
