A ‘Mini-Lollapalooza’ for Greater Cincinnati
To officially announce the Bunbury Music Festival that will take place July 13-15, 2012, the festival is holding a FREE kickoff event at Sawyer Point on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 7pm until 11pm. Three local bands – The Seedy Seeds, Lions Rampant, and The Minor Leagues will perform. The first 1,000 attendees will receive a discount code worth 50% off a one-day or three-day ticket for 2012; the only time such a discount will be given.
“Cincinnati’s riverfront is the perfect place for a music festival of this scale,” says Bill Donabedian, founder of the festival. “For three days next year, Bunbury will transform Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove with six stages showcasing national acts, a technology pavilion, and eco-marketplace.”
The festival is produced by November Five, LLC; a Cincinnati-based event production company. The company is owned by Bill Donabedian; managing director of Fountain Square and co-founder of the MidPoint Music Festival.
