Dayton, OH (September 7, 2011) — Ohio’s The Werks have confirmed a special two-night New Year’s Eve co-headlining event happening at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio called Werks-A-Dosio NYE with special guests Papadosio headlining December 30 and The Werks headlining on NYE. The Werks are quickly emerging as a national jam band powerhouse infusing their own ‘Psychedelic Dance Rock’ into a wider scene they’re creating. Papadosio has been gaining steam with their unique approach to attaining originality featuring long improvisational interludes and vocal harmonies set in the format of Rock/House to Jazz/Hop to Dub/Breaks. The evolution of The Werks continues this weekend with their production of the 2nd Annual Werk Out Festival happening in Bellefontaine, Ohio September 8-11 featuring 3 nights of The Werks, Dark Star Orchestra, The New Mastersounds, The Everyone Orchestra featuring Michael Kang, EOTO, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Donna Jean Godchaux Band, The Ragbirds and over forty other acts. The Werks also announces their Fall Tour featuring a wide array of dates across the east coast and mid-Atlantic including Halloween at the Madison Theatre in Covington, KY shows with Papadosio, Perpetual Groove and a special Trey Anastasio Band after-party in Atlanta featuring Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman (both of Trey Band) as well as Brock Butler of Perpetual Groove.
