Bluegrass for Babies is a unique, family-friendly bluegrass music concert benefiting Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Matt and Anne Schneider founded the event as a way to give back to Cincinnati Children’s after their son Nicholas required life-saving surgery when he was less than two days old. After an ultrasound at 32 weeks, doctors discovered that Nicholas had an intestinal blockage that would need surgery the day after he was born in order to survive.

After receiving world-class emergency care, the Schneiders wanted to help raise funds for the hospital in a way that they could also celebrate with the community. At this third annual event, the Schneiders hope to raise $25,000. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Perinatel Institute of Cincinnati Children’s.

More information on the Schneider family’s story can be found at: “Stories of Hope & Giving”.
