The Seedy Seeds Release Music Video For “I Am The Conductor” From Their Latest Album Verb Noun

The Seedy Seeds are excited to present their new music video for “I Am The Conductor” from the band’s 2011 full-length album, Verb Noun. They’re also thrilled to have been nominated for multiple Cincinnati Entertainment Awards including “Album Of The Year” and “Artist Of The Year”.

The video for “I Am The Conductor” was directed by Anthony Francis Moorman and shot in the band’s hometown of Cincinnati. It also marks the world’s introduction to the band’s newest member, Joe Frankl, who will be joining the band full-time following the amicable departure of Brian Penick, the group’s drummer and resident beard co-expert for the past two years.

The Seedy Seeds will be celebrating the release of the new video by performing a free show Wednesday, November 23 (the evening before thanksgiving) at Cincinnati’s MOTR Pub. The band are also thrilled to have been nominated for four Cincinnati Entertainment Awards for 2011: Artist of the Year; Album of the Year (Verb Noun); Alternative/ Indie; and Best Live Act.

The Seedy Seeds released their latest album Verb Noun in March 2011, and spent the rest of the spring and summer extensively touring the US in support of the record. You Aint No Picasso called Verb Noun “goooood” with extra Os for emphasis, and Pretty Much Amazing gives a thumbs up for the “pretty and uplifting pop music that combines folksy charm and electronic reverberation into one delightfully endearing package.” My Old Kentucky Blog gave praise to The Seedy Seeds “brand of pop that blends banjo, guitar, drums, synth with earnest vocal harmonies and clever lyrics.” The Huffington Post writes that the among bands incorporating electronic music in their sound, the “band have found their niche with an intriguing banjo hybrid.”
