Year seven of Second Sunday on Main is here! The first Second Sunday on Main of 2012 is June 10th and promises to kick off the Summer with an exciting afternoon. Second Sunday on Main is an eclectic neighborhood street festival of historic Over-the-Rhine. Main Street, between 13th and Liberty, is closed each second Sunday from June through October from Noon – 5 pm to showcase the event.

Drag Races – The Cincinnati Drag Races have been the traditional “kickoff” of the Pride Celebrations here in the Greater Cincinnati Area for over 20 years. This year’s activities include “Drag Your Dog OUT”, the Pooch Parade, Dykes on Trykes, “Miss Pit Stop 2012” and of course, the infamous Drag Races. All proceeds benefit Cincinnati Pride 2012. Races begin at 1:30 pm.
Dr. Bongonatti’s Art Parade – The Art Parade is an opportunity for Second Sunday visitors to let go of all the imagination and creativity stored inside of them and is their chance to express their creativity to the world. Dr. Bongonatti is a mythical made-up figure with the story that his potions transferred people into their dreams. The Art Parade was created in his honor.
The parade will assemble at 1:00 pm at Main and Liberty. It begins at 1:30 pm

The Crafty Mini Market – Hosted by the Crafty Supermarket, an indie craft event, began in 2009, to showcase local artisans. The Mini Market will highlight a selection of Crafty Supermarket’s vendors.
