The Delta Routine is a Milwaukee-based band committed to reviving passion, emotion and raw energy in the rock’n’roll tradition. While paying homage to the greats of classic rock and blues, The Delta Routine brings a unique, refreshingly-modern interpretation of rock music that is satisfying to both the critically-minded avid music listener looking for layered arrangements and intricate compositions as well as the pop-music-loving non-musician who desires danceable, catchy tunes. The band is comprised of lead singer/rhythm guitar player Nick Amadeus, bassist Evan Paydon, lead guitarist Kevin Topel and drummer Kyle Ciske, and on the strength of both their explosive live shows and 2011 full-length album More About You, the band took home the 2011 Best Band  and Best Alternative Artist awards from 88Nine Radio Milwaukee and the WAMI Awards (Wisconsin Area Music Industry), respectively.

Working with musician/producer Mike Hoffmann whose production credits include The Verve Pipe, Willie Porter and Victor DeLorenzo (Violent Femmes), The Delta Routine is anticipating the release of their second album, Cigarettes & Caffeine Nightmares, this fall.  This is the first full-length studio album to feature musicians Kevin Topel and Evan Paydon. In addition, this album will be the first to evidence the unique songwriting chemistry between Nick Amadeus and Kevin Topel.
The Delta Routine’s Cigarettes & Caffeine Nightmares will be available October 9th in both CD and Digital format, and the band will be touring in support of it this Fall. Tour dates will be announced soon.
