There are few artists that can truly encapsulate the essence and true range of Americana like Muscle Shoals artist Hannah Aldridge, whose musical pedigree precedes her and speaks for itself.
Born and raised in Muscle Shoals, AL, Hannah Aldridge had a childhood most musicians can only dream about.  Watching records being made and playing in the attic of famed recording studio, Muscle Shoals Sound, she had no idea it wasn’t just a regular kinda thing.

Hannah is the daughter of Alabama Music Hall of Famer, Walt Aldridge, who is one of the most prolific songwriters of the modern music era having written countless Number One and Top Ten hits for the likes of Lou Reed, Reba McIntire, Travis Tritt, Ricky Van Shelton, Ronnie Milsap and Conway Twitty.

Hannah always liked to sing but never really thought about singing as a career. She went off to college to study sound engineering and quickly discovered she really needed to learn a lot more about the business and craft.  So, taking a class on songwriting, she learned to play guitar and wrote her first songs and she hasn’t stopped since.

With sounds ranging from blues in the Mississippi Delta to the dusty, Dixieland jazz sounds from New Orleans, the musical stylings of Muscle Shoals on up to the primitive roots of American Country music, Hannah Aldridge leaves no inspiration or influence untapped.

A seasoned staff writer for BAR Music with song placements in TV shows like Hart of Dixie(CW) all before she even reaches the ripe old age of 25, Hannah has garnered recognition from American Songwriter Magazine as well as Relix Magazine just to name a few.  Hannah’s upcoming release “ Born to be Broken” slated for release September 2013 shows her growth in musical sensibility, writing and maturity.
