OK Go Leads Second Round of MidPoint Music Festival Artists

MidPoint organizers announce today a second group of festival artists, including OK Go, who will be the Saturday night headliner in Washington Park. Tickets for the thirteenth annual event, September 25–27, are on sale at MPMF.com.

OK Go is preparing to release their fourth studio album, Hungry Ghosts. A first teaser single, “The Writing’s On the Wall,” was released on June 17. The corresponding music video, structured in the band’s signature single-shot style and featuring an incredible amount of optical illusions, reached more than one million views on YouTube within a day. OK Go is known as much for their videos, as they are their music. The band won a Grammy for “Best Music Video” in 2007 for the single “Here It Goes Again.”
