The DBL Law presents OTR Performs Series might be coming to a close for 2014, but it will do so in a flourish, with the return of the critically-acclaimed band Over the Rhine to Washington Park. Join us this Sunday, August 24, for a free performance from the famed husband–and-wife duo, Karin Bergquist and Linford Detweiler. The group previously performed in the park in August 2012, as part of a special community celebration surrounding the reopening of Washington Park. Bergquist and Detweiler have since released a new album, titled Meet Me At The Edge of the World, and are now touring extensively throughout North America.

Festivities begin at 1:00pm, with an afternoon of music and fun with the School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA). Music lovers of all ages are invited to gather around Washington Park’s historic bandstand for special performances from the school’s talented current students and alumni. Jazpel, SCPA’s youth Jazz Collective and 2012 World Choir Games award recipient, will kick things off, followed by music from Tyshawn Colquitt, Gigity and more.

Over the Rhine will take to the main stage at 6:00pm for a two-hour musical set. Full performance schedule available below.
