Utah-based rock band Desert Noises has announced an extensive fall tour in support of their acclaimed label debut 27 Ways (SQE Music). The band has added a string of dates starting on October 15 that put them on the road with The Wild Feathers and The Apache Relay for a month. Desert Noises have been making a name for themselves with their brand of infectious rock combined with commanding and captivating live shows. Their fan base continues to expand, particularly following riveting sets at major festivals, including Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Hangout and Lollapalooza. The band just released a new live clip for their track for “Out Of My Head” (view here), which will give you a taste of what heir live performances are like and why people are paying attention.

The quartet has been touring relentlessly since the release of 27 Ways while gaining attention from The Daily Beast, PasteMagnet, Relevant, CMT EdgeMy Old Kentucky BlogAV ClubBoston Globe, SPIN, Line of Best Fitand many others (view highlights here). Desert Noises will be crossing the country, making appearances in NYC, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Nashville and most major markets (see full tour dates below), including their debut performance at Voodoo Music Experience along with a special Halloween show in Austin, TX.

27 Ways was recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios in El Paso, TX with producer Nic Jodoin (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club). PopMatters described the album as “…at times raucous, at times joyous amalgamation of guitar riffs, harmonized vocals and percussive bashing that goes a good ways to restoring one’s faith in the healing power of rock and roll.”
