Johnny Lewis Dream-Folk Artist Drops New Tracks & Announces Tour Dates – Midpoint Music Festival on 9/25

Producer-turned-songwriter Johnny Lewis melds a gorgeous fusion of dream-folk, progressive Americana, unique lyrics and electronic ambiance into his self-titled, debut; out Sept 23 on vinyl and digitally. Next week Lewis will perform with his six-piece ensemble at Mercury Lounge in NYC on Monday, September 8th at 7pm.

PopDose recently stated, “You don’t get debut albums as solid as this one” and tracks from the album have begun to make their way online, starting with the shuffle love-story “Familiar Chime“. Earlier this week, Under The Gun Review premiered “Uneasy Love” saying it, “has all the makings of a dream pop genre classic” and this morning Guitar World’s Acoustic Nation debuted the “sway and swagger” of “Little“.

Following his NYC show, Johnny Lewis will be on the road in support of his debut later this month through October, including multiple official performances during CMJ.  A full list of dates can be found below with more to be added. Hailing from Minneapolis, Johnny Lewis moved to Colorado in 2008 to pursue electronic production for The Larva Ink, Lizzo, Bokonon and many more. He became accepted into the festival community and opened extensively for national acts such as The Flaming Lips and EOTO, but after tirelessly working in the electronic world, Lewis came to terms with his obsession for acoustic music and songwriting. He moved to New York City to start his music career over and wrote his first solo record.
