The Travelin’ McCourys and the Gibson Brothers will perform at Miami Middletown’s Dave Finkelman Auditorium on Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The Travelin’ McCourys consist of the sons of bluegrass legend Del McCoury — Ronnie McCoury on mandolin and Rob McCoury on banjo — with fiddler Jason Carter and bassist Alan Bartram. The band is known for a mix of traditional and progressive bluegrass that combines their sound with others to make something fresh and rejuvenating.

The Gibson Brothers are a five-man band that has honed their sound through hundreds of shows and thousands of miles. They have earned numerous awards including: 2013 IBMA Entertainers of the Year; Vocal Group of the Year, Song of the Year (They Called It Music) and Songwriter of the Year (Eric Gibson.) In 2012, IBMA Entertainers of the Year and Gospel Recorded Performance for Singing As We Rise. Their new album, Brotherhood, is currently number nine on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums charts.

Tickets for this performance are $30 for adults, $28 for senior citizens/Miami employees and $20 for college students and children under 12.
