There’s a Last Time For Everything sprung somewhat unexpectedly from a trip to Nashville where Lucy worked with friend, collaborator and producer, Jordan Brooke Hamlin.  There are 11 tracks on the album – 10 originals and one surprising cover song – a unique adaptation of Robyn’s dance hit “Call Your Girlfriend.”   The album also features guest vocalist Colin Meloy (The Decemberists), Mary Chapin Carpenter and Robby Hecht.

These performances, combined with Lucy’s exploration into broader musical territory, make this recording an exciting follow up to Lucy’s well-received debut album, Lucy (2010). A former elementary teacher in New York City, Lucy joined the family “business” (mom is folk icon Suzzy Roche, dad is actor/singer/songwriter Loudon Wainwright III and sister/brother are Martha and Rufus, respectively) with the release of her debut Lucy in 2010.
