MidPoint organizers announced today a second group of artists. Tickets for the fourteenth annual event, September 25–27, are on sale now at MPMF.com.

Full schedules, stages and more acts in the lineup will be announced in a few weeks.

Sam Beam is a singer-songwriter who has been creating music as Iron & Wine for more than a decade. Through the course of five albums, numerous EPs and singles, Iron & Wine has captured the emotion and imagination of listeners with distinctly cinematic songs. He will be performing with a full band for MidPoint, featuring songs from the entire back catalog and debuting new ones.
Festival organizers recently announced a shift in operating days, moving from a Thursday, Friday, Saturday format to running Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The change is intended to open more daytime programming opportunities and make it easier for fans to commit to enjoying an entire weekend of music in Cincinnati.

MidPoint continues to focus on presenting a diverse lineup of pioneering performers and new music explorers in the neighborhoods of Downtown Cincinnati and Over-the-Rhine.

Using a collection of clubs, theaters, and city parks—all easy to walk or bike between—fans will have the opportunity to get up close and personal in one of the most intimate festival settings around.

It’s this blend of tastemaker talent showcased in Cincinnati’s beautiful urban atmosphere that makes MidPoint unique amongst today’s music festival landscape. Dollar for dollar, MidPoint is one of the best music festival values in the entire country.
