Lydia Loveless‘s new music video for “Same to You” is not for the faint of heart (or entomophobes or arachnophobes). As Paste points out, “while horror is not typically a genre commonly tapped for music videos, this one…works oddly well.” Director Brandon Reichard’s blend of stop motion, live action, and…um…bugs gives the heavy (in both senses of the word) song an even darker and dangerous tone.
Real is out now on CD, vinyl LP, and digital. Lydia also released a double single, featuring a brand new song and a cover of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” was released last month.
