Bring family and friends out to the St. Thomas More JulyFest, one of the largest festivals on the eastside of Cincinnati.  The St. Thomas More JulyFest is held the second weekend in July, and is the major fundraiser for the parish. St. Thomas More’s JulyFest was voted best festival in Clermont County for 2005, and was a 2014 Cincy Magazine “Best of the East” finalist.  The 2017 event will be held July 7th, 8th, and 9th.

JulyFest offers great food and entertainment for the entire family. This year’s festival offers a large Children’s area, an expansive Midway for kids of all ages, and amusement rides by Murray Bros. Shows.  JulyFest also features Cincinnati’s premier strolling magician Keith Moeller, Caricatures by Duff, FacePainting by Karen, Let’s Glow Crazy light toys, and Cincinnati area mascots Mr. RedLegs, Xavier D’Artagnan, Cincinnati Bearcat, and NKU’s Victor E. Viking !!!

JulyFest raffles include our Grand Raffle, with prizes including $10,000 OR a 2017 Harley Davidson Sportster Iron 883, (2) Cincinnati Bengals season tickets, a Michael Kors purse/wallet/cosmetic bag, and several cash prizes.  The JulyFest Helicopter Golf Ball Drop raffle offers tickets for $5 with a chance to win $1000 for closest to pin, as Stratus Helicopters will drop up to 600 golf balls on Sunday, July 9th.  The St. Vincent DePaul can raffle offers a chance for a $500 cash prize for each can you bring!  The All Cincinnati Catholic School Tuition raffle offers a chance at, up to the full cost of tuition, at ANY Catholic primary or secondary school in the tri-state area!

Our famous JulyFest casino will host several tables of blackjack, Texas Hold ‘Em, 7 Card Stud, and Let It Ride, along with 2 big screen televisions to watch the Reds and FC Cincinnati, a JulyFest casino bar, and *NEW* for 2017, the JulyFest Roulette.

This year’s JulyFest will include a variety of refreshments and food, including sausage sandwiches, roasted corn on the cob, brats, metts, hotdogs, hamburgers, loaded baked potatoes, jambalaya, walking tacos, flying pork wings, funnel cakes, homemade desserts, root beer floats, and a whole lot more!  Contracted vendors include LaRosa’s, Hogs On Wheels BBQ, Kona-Ice, Johnny’s Creamy Whip, and Jersey Mike’s Subs.  And, of course no one will want to miss our delicious Sunday dinner!  This year’s dinner includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, carrots in butter and brown sugar, rolls, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, Saratoga chips, assorted desserts, and lemonade for $9 for adults and $5 for kids.  The Sunday dinner is from 1-8pm (or until we run out!) on Sunday. Beverages at this year’s JulyFest include soft drinks, 8 different offerings of Anheuser Busch products from our large Beer Garden, our Lime-A-Rita/Straw-Ber-Rita/Mang-O-Rita/Raz-Ber-Rita booth, award winning wines from Harmony Hill Vineyards, and fantastic offerings from StreetSide Brewery including “Father Bill’s JulyFest Nectar”!

July 7th – “Night of the Guitar!”

6pm – The Doug Hart Band – Doug Hart is the 2017 Cincy Blues Challenge winner, 2013 Dayton Blues Challenge winner, the 2014 Toledo Blues Challenge winner, the 2014 International Blues Challenge semi-finalist, and 3-time winner of Dayton’s Best Blues Band.  With his unique blend of rock and blues, and his energetic and soulful performances, the Dayton, Ohio native is leaving a lasting impression on audiences everywhere he performs.  Special guest appearance by a talented young artist, Bauner Chafin!

9pm – The Scotty Bratcher Band – Scotty Bratcher is an incredible national artist, and arguably the finest guitarist in the Midwest and beyond.  Scotty has played with and opened for names like Ted Nugent, Blue Oyster Cult, Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, Foghat, Lonnie Mack, Walter Trout, .38 Special, Styx, Peter Frampton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band, Blackberry Smoke, and many more.  Prepared to be amazed!

 

July 8th – “JulyFest Country Jam 4.0”

6pm – The Amy Sailor Band – Amy Sailor sings with passion and soul, and her combination of high energy and incredible stage presence will get the JulyFest crowd rockin’!  Named as the 2015 Cincinnati’s Next Big Band, The Amy Sailor Band is in constant demand all over the tri-state!  Don’t miss the chance to see ASB, live and rockin’ out… on the JulyFest main stage.

9pm – The Dan Varner Band – JulyFest welcomes back an eastside favorite, and multi-winner of Cincy Vibe’s best country band, The Dan Varner Band. The DVB will be sure to bring the masses to this year’s festival, and they never fail to satisfy. Join us, as the Dan Varner Band caps off an incredible night of the best country music anywhere!!! July 9th – “Music Showcase”

3pm – SWAGG – JulyFest Sunday features the return of the soulful, jazzy smooth sounds of SWAGG.  ReverbNation’s #1 jazz band, SWAGG is sure to fill JulyFest with musical grooves that will captivate an audience on a Sunday afternoon!

6pm – Krystal Peterson & The Queen City Band – Voted as the 2016 Cincinnati Entertainment Award  winner for R&B/Funk/Soul, Krystal Peterson’s stunning vocals will leave you absolutely breathless.  An international artist, Krystal was the lead vocalist for Grammy award winner, Victor Wooten.  One listen, and you will be a fan for life!
