On Saturday, August 11, the Bethesda Foundation will host Gourmet Melodies, its annual fundraiser for Hospice of Cincinnati, at Anderson Pavilion (8 East Mehring Way, Cincinnati, OH) in Smale Riverfront Park.

Attendees will enjoy dinner by the bite, an open bar including craft beer and wines, and rides on Carol Ann’s Carousel, while taking in river and city views. The evening will be accompanied by a variety of music ranging from Caribbean and bluegrass to jazz and swing, from some of Cincinnati’s best bands including the Queen City Silver Stars, My Brother’s Keeper, Wild Carrot with Kyle Meadows & Lauren Schloemer, and The Burning Caravan.

“We are excited for another great event to support Hospice of Cincinnati,” said Andy Swallow, President & CEO of the Bethesda Foundation. “Our musical line up this year is one of the best yet and we look forward to bringing all of our guests together to celebrate Hospice of Cincinnati and have a great time.” Gourmet Melodies is the largest fundraiser for Hospice of Cincinnati. Proceeds from the event help support the organization in creating the best possible and most meaningful end-of-life experience for individuals who need care and support in our community.

Hospice of Cincinnati, an industry leader in hospice and palliative care, supports those at the end of life with patient and family centered care including nurses, physicians, social workers, holistic practitioners, pharmacists, chaplains, hospice aides, and trained volunteers. The care team is designed to give patients the help they need to stay as comfortable as possible so they can focus on making today the best it can be. “Hospice of Cincinnati simply could not offer the extra, special services we provide without the support received from Gourmet Melodies,” said Sandra Lobert, President & CEO of Hospice of Cincinnati. “One example is our Music Therapy program, which brings joy to our patients and often revives meaningful memories of loved ones.”

Gourmet Melodies runs from 7 – 11 p.m. Tickets are $100 and include open bar, live music, food by the bite and complimentary parking provided Jaguar Land Rover of Cincinnati. Parking for the event will be in Lot D to the left of Anderson Pavilion. Tickets and sponsorship information is available online at www.BethesdaFoundation.com/events/Gourmet-Melodies.
