Lara Hope and The Ark-Tones

9/1/19

MOTR Pub, 1345 Main St, Cincinnati, OH

Free, 21+, 8pm

2018 was quite the year for New York Roots Rockers, Lara Hope & The Ark-Tones. They spent the second half of 2018 on tours supporting some of their musical heroes, The Reverend Horton Heat, The Blasters, and most recently the Brian Setzer Orchestra, on their 15th Anniversary Christmas Rocks Tour.

Based around Woodstock, NY, Hope and the band don’t find themselves home too much these days. Since winning Dale Watson’s 2017 Ameripolitan Music Award for Best Female Rockabilly Artist, they’ve been staying quite busy, and are happy to do so. They have spent the last few months working on material for their upcoming 3rd studio release. Now they’re hitting the road for a week of shows across the Rust Belt where they will debut their new songs for live audiences. They return to Cincinnati, most recently having played the Taft Theater with The Brian Setzer Orchestra. This time around they will be performing at Motr Pub. They will also be performing a Saturday set at Eville-Shindig in Evansville, Indiana. The largest Rockabilly and Kustum Kulture festival in the Mid-West. Catch them when they are in your town!
