Traditional bluegrass instrumentation with a twist (drums and harmonica) create a psychedelic folk rock experience. With a heavy focus on original songs, vocal harmonies, and free-flow jams, it’s highly likely to get you up and dancing!
Highly Likely is: Char Bowling (guitar, vocals), Brian Bowling (banjo), Mark Miller (mandolin, vocals), Jeff Roades (bass, vocals), and Sleepy Andy Tracy (drums, harmonica, vocals).
The band has finished recording its first album, due out February 29 on compact disc and on all major streaming/download platforms, including Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, and more. “Sunrise” is a diverse collection of dynamic songs weaving together jamgrass, blues, Americana, reggae, and psychedelic rock influences. Themes about nature and good times – with a side of self-reflection, social consciousness, and love – are found throughout the album. It’s fun, feel-good music with a message of love for life and each other.
The band celebrates the debut of its album with a February 29 release party at Dead Low Brewing on the east side of Cincinnati with opener Hickory Robot.
