3CDC and Fifth Third Bank kick off the summer event season at Fountain Square on Memorial Day Weekend with the return of free programming 7 days a week. Programming includes live music from multiple genres, trivia nights, lunchtime events and more. Events that have taken a modified format in spring are continuing to evolve as CDC guidelines change; this includes the exciting return of the dance floor to Salsa on the Square on June 3. Organizers are especially excited for the return of larger concerts to the Fifth Third Bank Center Stage, a state-of-the-art performance stage that was unveiled in 2020. The permanent stage includes new audio equipment, lighting, and technology to ensure the best possible event experience for patrons. Large concerts were not held on the Square in 2020 due to COVID-19, so summer events will provide a debut for the new stage and all of its capabilities.
A full liquor license allows 3CDC to offer beer, wine, and liquor at events, and Fountain Square’s bar will open Monday-Saturday and select Sundays. Food trucks and other local vendors will be present at lunchtime events as well as most evening programming. Enjoy Happy Hour a Fifth Third Better every Monday – Saturday from 5– 7p featuring $1 off any alcoholic drink.

Join us on the Square for ‘Not Your Average Paint and Sip Class! Classes will be held on select Sundays this summer. Tickets are $25 and pre-registration is highly recommended. We will be using a follow along style as we paint a different Cincinnati landmark on 12″ x 12″ canvasses. Your ticket comes with a drink voucher and includes all materials needed.
