The third installment of the Cripple Creek Music Festival will be headlined by Vermont jamband Twiddle, with a diverse musical slate throughout the one day event on October 2nd, 2021. Located just across the river from downtown Cincinnati, OH, the DCCH fairgrounds in Fort Mitchell, KY, will once again come alive with fall festivities including a wide selection of craft bourbon and beer, food and art vendors, a pop-up sports bar for college football, and more. Progressive bluegrass band The Lil Smokies will put their revamped lineup on display after two progressive Texas country acts— Garrett T. Caps and The Tender Things— make their first appearances in the Cincinnati area.
The 2021 version of the festival will be the first without fest founder Tom Miller, who passed away months ago after years-long battle with ALS. Tom’s own charity, Winning With ALS, is the beneficiary of corporate sponsors to the event, and his love of music and trips out to Oregon’s Pickathon sparked his desire to curate Cripple Creek and bring new bands to the Cincinnati area.
The festival will kick-off with local Northern KY folk singer Maria Carrelli and Andy King, who will make his annual pilgrimage from Alaska to perform with Dangertown in his former hometown.
