On Tuesday, November 16, Karen and I are hosting a concert at the Southgate House Revival in Newport, Kentucky. Proceeds will benefit The Music Resource Center-Cincinnati (see link below). The Music Resource Center-Cincinnati played an extremely important and supportive role in the lives of the two young men we mentored for the past six years, Malik and Ron. We continue to be impressed with the work that The Music Resource Center-Cincinnati does on behalf of young people in our community. Our goal is to not only raise money for the organization but also to bring attention to their efforts.

Your $30 ticket purchase will provide you with an entertaining night of music. Opening the show at 7:30 pm will be Tim Grimm and the Family Band. We first met Tim when he was opening for Justin Townes Earle at a concert in Bloomington, Indiana in 2015. Our admiration for Tim as a musician, entertainer, and human being has grown through the subsequent years. We have been fortunate to travel with him on tours he has led to Ireland, the Netherlands, and Scotland.
Our headliner for the evening is singer/songwriter Alice Peacock. Alice’s seventh album release “Minnesota” is described by No Depression magazine as “Stunningly Beautiful.” Alice’s eponymously titled album Alice Peacock, released in 1999, featured the hit “Bliss”, a duet with John Mayer.
There are two ways to ensure your place at the November 16 show.
