Returning for its 16th year and for the first time activating in the month of November, Second Sunday on Main (SSOM), is a free neighborhood street festival in Cincinnati’s historic Over-The-Rhine neighborhood. This monthly celebration includes arts and live music, a diverse local vendor market, and the Braxton Brewing Biergarten lounge. Cincinnati Music Accelerator brings their Mobile Stage Trailer to 12th and Main, in addition to the main stage programming.
The event’s November theme, “Shop Small”, celebrates the beginning of the holiday shopping season, with over 100 local vendors and Main Street’s brick and mortar retailers showcasing holiday gifts and more! The festival also includes live performances by several local musicians and a blanket and coat drive benefiting the TRIIIBE Foundation, hosted by Matter Bottanica, at 1344 Main Street.
November marks the last month for the 2021 SSOM season, which will return in June of 2022 for their 17th season. The event has become more than just a street fair, becoming an incubator festival, attracting aspiring entrepreneurs to sell their goods, build their customer base and network. The festival keeps vendor fees low and is intentional with outreach, recruiting some of the region’s newest and brightest entrepreneurs.
SSOM is an Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce signature event with the help of presenting sponsors P&G and Kroger.
