Hookahville 56 Announces Lineup, Will Take Place At Legend Valley Music Center

Hookahville – the Midwest’s longest running music festival – is set to return to Legend Valley Concert Venue in Thornville, Ohio, from May 11-13, 2023. The multi-day affair will feature four sets from host band ekoostik hookah alongside New Orleans legends Dumpstaphunk; Zion Rock Godchaux’s genre-spanning BoomBox; piano virtuoso Holly Bowling; and many more diverse acts.

Since its inception in a backyard in 1994, Hookahville has grown into a storied Ohio tradition, with hundreds of bands gracing its stages over the past three decades. Legendary acts such as Bob Weir and Ratdog, Billy Strings, Blues Traveler, Rusted Root, Les Claypool, Government Mule, and countless others have shared the Hookahville stage, ensuring unique collaborations and non-stop entertainment throughout the weekend.

Set at the idyllic Legend Valley – with its 200+ acres of rolling hills, scenic vistas, and life-sized dinosaurs sprinkled throughout – Hookahville 56 will kick off Ohio’s 2023 festival season with nearly a dozen live acts, a wide variety of food trucks, an array of craft and art vendors, and live artistry on display throughout the weekend.

Other acts set to perform include Lexington, Kentucky’s Magnolia Boulevard; Trial by Fire Plays Dead featuring Dave Katz of ekoostik hookah, the blues/funk/jazz inspired Joe Marcinek Band, Cleveland’s jam-funk psychedelic trio Vibe & Direct, Ohio’s own Glostik Glograss, Toledo’s prog-rock powerhouse Baccano, Connecticut-based Creamery Station, and Cleveland’s funky eight-piece Rubix Groove.
