Multi-talented songsmith Mobley will support Magic Giant on a full U.S. tour. Known as a charismatic frontman with dynamic live shows, fans can catch his spellbinding, one-man show on the tour, which commences in on March 15 in Salt Lake City, UT, and wraps on April 15 in San Francisco, CA (full dates below).

He is also releasing a new interactive video for his latest single, “Lord.” In addition to directing its filming, Mobley designed and coded the interactive video from scratch.

“I wanted to create something that harkened back to the days when our experience of the internet wasn’t so completely filtered through massive, monolithic ‘platforms’,” Mobley says. “When you would hear about a cool thing online and click over to someone’s obscure website where they were making things they loved and sharing them directly.”

He used a machine learning algorithm to take old footage of the Queen and generate lip movements that match the lyrics of his song. Watch the video in Google Chrome here: https://www.mobleywho.com/lord.

Mobley, who is also a producer, filmmaker, writer, advocate, and one-man tour de force, released his EP, Cry Havoc!, in late 2022.

“It’s rare that an artist should have such a complete vision for the world they want to create. Rarer still that they should do it so impressively.” –Afropunk

“A maker of boundary-pushing pop that urges listeners to throw all assumptions to the wayside….” – Billboard

“A restless all-around creative who has channeled his technical and artistic skills into a one-man, perpetual motion stage show.”
– American Songwriter

Other recent highlights include Mobley composing the theme music for Webby and Anthem Award-winning SiriusXM & Smithsonian podcast All Music Is Black Music, hosted by Selema Masekela, which Mobley performed at the first-ever live taping of the podcast at The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Prior to that, Mobley’s 2021 release, Young & Dying in the Occident Supreme, made waves around the world with “James Crow,” a critically acclaimed pop-rock song with a political conscience. Mobley has also played dozens of festivals including ACL, Lollapalooza, Hangout, SXSW, Noise Pop, and Float Fest; opened for The Arkells, Cold War Kids, Phantogram, James Blake, Bishop Briggs, WAVVES, ARIZONA, Dermot Kennedy, Sylvan Esso, and Matt & Kim; racked up millions of streams on DSPs and landed sync placements on HBO, FOX, NBC, ESPN, CW, and more.
