Slightly Stoopid kicks-off 2013 with a bang as they release to radio stations across the country the second radio single, “Don’t Stop,” from their latest full-length studio album, Top of the World (Release Date: August 14, 2012); a new music video for “Don’t Stop,” directed by Raised Fist Propaganda (Jeff Pliskin), will be available in February 2013 via You Tube and slightlystoopid.com.

Upon the release of Top of the World, Stoopid’s new album entered the Billboard 200 at a career high #13, Billboard’s Independent Albums chart at #3, and the Rock Albums and Alternative Albums charts at a peak position of #4. The album’s title track was added at such tastemaker stations as KROQ (Los Angeles), 91X (San Diego) and Live 105 (San Francisco), and the band went on to make their second appearance in two years on Jimmy Kimmel Live on September 12, 2012.

With five Sold-Out headline shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre under their belt (w/ acts such as Snoog Dogg, G. Love, Sly & Robbie, Stephen Marley, 311), Slightly Stoopid will celebrate the legalization of marijuana in Colorado by headlining one of the country’s biggest herbal parties at their favorite venue with longtime pot-advocates Cypress Hill supporting the bill at the “420 Hot Box” at Red Rocks (Saturday, April 20, 2013)! Stoopid is thrilled to show their resounding support to area fans for voting “Yes” to their state’s Amendment 64 to legalize marijuana this past November 2012.

Slightly Stoopid just released Slightly Stoopid & Friends: Live at TRI Studios, a special 2-Disc HD DVD set recorded live at TRI Studios (San Rafael, CA), featuring guest artists Bob Weir, Ivan Neville, Ian Neville, Karl Denson, Don Carlos, and a rare interview segment moderated by Tommy Chong and Weir. The 2-Disc HD DVD set and 32 live songs are now available for purchase on slightlystoopid.com.

While spreading their contagious feel-good vibe and signature SoCal sound, Slightly Stoopid has taken social media by storm with garnering a staggering 867,000 likes on Facebook, 500,000 Pandora fans, and more than 16,000,000 plays on YouTube. The band has sold 900,000 albums via their own independent record label, Stoopid Records, and they’ve placed songs in popular TV shows, major motion films, and video games such as Workaholics (Comedy Central), Hawaii Five-O (CBS), The Buried Life (MTV), Scrubs (NBC), Sons of Tuscon (FOX), The OC (FOX), North Shore (WB), Cribs (MTV), Just Legal (WB), This Means War (FOX), Jam Sessions (Nintendo), Guitar Hero 4 (Activision), and Rockband (Microsoft).
